Update #1

We've had 2 rehearsals so far and we've got the main structure of how we're going act out the piece down. However, few things that need to be noted consists of:

• lines are still unfamiliar so acting will come off as unrealistic
• movements in the piece are still unsure
• the ups and downs in the piece can be seen, but still can be played up further
• song & dance not done yet
  
• game scene at the end still awkward

Anyway, we've yet to rehearse in the blackbox yet, so our considered props and movements are still considered tentative.

Name: Constanze Weber
Age: Early Twenties
Wife to Mozart.

Personality: I am a passionate wife, and I am very patient. Despite our bad living conditions with my husband, Mozart, I put up with it. Of course, I do not enjoy it. I have tried to help him secure a stable job, but to no avail. I love Wolferl very much. Nothing can tear us apart. I am also a talented singer. But sadly I am out of practice. I am aware that we need help regarding our financial situation, but unlike Mozart, I do not mind risking embarrassment and asking for it. I have tried asking Salieri to help him. And I don't mind making sacrifices. I don't want to continue living like this, but I love Wolferl very much, so as long as I'm with him, I'm happy.

History :
I come from a family of gifted vocalists. My mother is a landlady and my father is a musician. I have a lot of sisters - such as Aloysia, Josepha and Sophie. I was brought up in my mother's hometown, Mannheim. We moved to Vienna in 1779 so that my sister Aloysia could pursue her career. I remember, Wolferl came to stay at my house in 1781, and that was when he began courting me! Oh he was so sweet! But of course, my mother didn't like it and he had to leave. We got married on 4th August 1782! We didn't have his father's permission. In fact his father hated me. And I hated him. But on a more positive note, I am now pregnant with our first child! I am absolutely excited (:

Current situation :
I must admit I am very worried. My dear husband still hasn't gotten a proper job, and we have so little money. And I'm having our first child, another mouth to feed! I really hope our situation changes. I hate being cold all the time, since we have no heat. It is depressing. But I guess I still have my husband with me, and that's all that matters. We will get through it together.

Character Analysis - Mozart

Personality:

My name is Mozart and I really love composing music. Music is my life. Without music, you might as well just kill me! I am very secretive when I'm composing my next piece of music. I don't want people to hear it until it has been completed. I also get bored very easily. That's why I didn't want to keep my job as court musician in Salzburg and went in search of a better one. Even though I'm living a poor life in Vienna, I'm satisfied as long as I am able to continue composing my music. I am actually a very vain person and like to make sure that my hair is always in place. I also like to wear elegant and fashionable clothing. After all, a musician has to have some form of dignity! I also enjoy dancing because it allows me to show my emotions freely! A lot of people have told me that I act very juvenile and that I'm very childish. Well, I don't disagree. Life should be enjoyed! Why spend all your time brooding over serious matters when you can have fun!

History:

I am the youngest in my family and I have one older sister. My father is my music teacher. Since young, I've already developed a keen interest in music as well as composing. Even as my father taught me music, I actually did more than what he thought and started composing my own music as young as the age of 5. My father would then write them down. I have a close relationship with my father as he taught me many of the things I know and has toured with me all over in Europe. Later on in Vienna, I met Constanze. We got married despite my father disagreeing, even though we managed to get his grudging consent eventually. We're about to have our first child!

Thoughts towards current situation:

Constanze and I are currently living in quite a poor condition. But I think its fine as long we maintain a positive attitude and always try to be happy! I think Constanze is a bit unhappy with the way we're living right now, what with the child along the way. But I'm sure she'll understand. I'm currently busy composing my latest piece of music so I don't mind our living conditions that much. We just have a bit of trouble keeping warm now, especially since its a very cold winter. But I'm sure Constanze and I will get through this. Come little wife of my heart, let's play our game! Pa-pa! Pa-pa!
